Microneedling RF Operation Steps

4. When operating the microneedle rf, the handle should be vertically close to the skin. The handle should not tilte or out of balance. Do not lift the handle or accidentally touch the skin during energy emission.
5. Occasionally, add 1-2 treatment gaps as appropriate to optimize results depending on the unevenness of the operation, thereby enhancing the post-treatment gap after completion of treatment of the entire area.
6. When operating at depths greater than 3mm, apply greater pressure to the skin to ensure contact and coupling of the needle tip to the skin. The deeper the depth, the greater the pressure.

Postoperative Reactions and Measures

1. Apply ice packs for 10-20 minutes after microneedle rf treatment to calm and soothe. You may choose to apply ice packs with ice guide or medical ice packs. Recommend to use plastic wrap or sterile gauze to prevent the ice pack from melting and wetting the treatment area, which may cause infection. Or bring a medical mask to apply ice (refrigerate the mask first).
2. Post-operative reaction:
Immediately after the operation, the skin will be slightly hot, accompanied by slight redness and swelling, which is a normal phenomenon; the heat sensation usually subsides after 1-3 hours, and the slight redness and swelling will subside in about 1-3 days.
It is normal for the skin to be itchy after treatment, which is the natural healing process of the skin wound. Please be careful not to scratch or rub the treatment area, as this will damage the skin barrier function. Adhere to the medical dressing for recovery.
Acne rarely occurs after microneedle rf treatment, it may some inflammation hidden deep in the hair follicle that breaks out early after treatment. Cautions of Microneedling RF

① Remove all metal objects from your body before using the system to avoid accidental RF conduction. The patient should not touch any metal or other grounding paths while the system is in use.
② When treating areas with thin skin/tissue, such as the neck or zygomatic bone, forehead, bridge of the nose and other areas with prominent bone tissue and thin skin, the energy should be reduced appropriately and the depth should be adjusted according to the individual skin condition.
③ Hairline, eyebrows, eyeballs, lips, blood vessels and throat nodes should be avoided.
④ Observe the skin reaction at any time, ask the customer how he/she feels, and adjust the parameters in time.
⑤ If there is bleeding at the tip of the needle, you can prepare medical sterile gauze or large cotton swabs and wipe it while doing it.
⑥ During the application process, there will be a slight sensation of pinprick or heat, which is a normal reaction. Since everyone has different skin texture and sensitivity in different parts of the body, the treatment experience and skin reaction will be different; please inform the operator if you cannot tolerate it. If the customer feels abnormal, stop immediately and observe whether the skin reaction is too heavy after treatment. If it is too heavy, reduce the energy or parameters appropriately.

What should I do after Microneedling RF Treatment?

① Do not allow the treated area to come into contact with tap water for 3-5 days after treatment to prevent infection. If necessary, it is recommended to wash with saline or distilled water after 24 hours. Wash gently, do not scrub the treatment area and dry it with sterile gauze.
② Tiny scabs may appear after 1-3 days and will fall off in about 5-10 days. Even if the scabs are itchy, do not touch or scratch them, let them fall off naturally. Do not touch the treated area with your hands to prevent infection and other undesirable conditions.
③ Avoid using facial cleanser, cosmetics and powdered skin care products until the scabs are removed from the treatment area.
④ Avoid strenuous exercise, sauna, hot springs, hot showers and other items for 7-10 days after treatment.
⑤ Do not massage and knead the treated area with excessive force within 15 days after treatment.
⑥ Do not use skin care products containing irritating ingredients within 15 days after treatment, such as skin care products containing acid, A acid, salicylic acid, exfoliation, high concentration of vitamin C, alcohol and other irritating ingredients. So as not to irritate the skin and affect the repair.
⑦ Strictly do a good job of sunscreen, UV protection, anti-dyeing. Give priority to the use of sun masks, hats, umbrellas and other hard sun protection measures; it is recommended to use sunscreen after scab removal; protect the treatment area from excessive sun exposure for at least one month after treatment.
⑧ No second exfoliation treatment program within one month after the operation.
⑨ Avoid eating foods that are too dark in color, such as soy sauce and beef.
⑩ Avoid drinking alcohol, spicy stimulating food and seafood.
